I first listened to this story on the Read Me Romance podcast and I absolutely loved it. I'm not really an audio person, but I enjoyed it so much so I loved the fact that it was also released as an ebook.

We briefly met Jason in Runaway Girl and of course Tessa dropped just enough breadcrumbs to make me want more. He's one of those silent, broody Alpha males that I love to read about. Jason and Cameron have ridiculous chemistry and there is also the signature Tessa Bailey humor that makes her books so fun.

This story is short, sweet and sexy and the only thing I didn't like was that there wasn't more! (Although we do get an extra epilogue. Yay!)

Tessa Bailey never disappoints. Kyle and Cameron's story is a sexy, chemistry-filled instalove shot of delight! Where does the author comes up with such imaginative scenarios? It gives me all the feels (in all the right places). Cameos from Jason and Naomi of Runaway Girl keeps me in my happy place. 4.8 stars, only because of Cameron's ever changing hair color.
I absolutely loved this short novella! I basically read anything Tessa Bailey writes. I would gladly read her grocery list and be shouting YES QUEEN GET IT the whole time... so when I heard Renaissance Man was coming to audio and then released as a novella, I just knew I had to read it. Especially since Kyle is in it! Bailey definitely brought it with this quick and dirty novella. I highly suggest you give it a read!
Though this book is novella length, it packed the same level of heat you're used to when you read a Tessa Bailey book. The first time Kyle and Cameron met had me laughing. I love that there was so much humor in this book along with the heat. If you're a fan of audio, this novella is available on the Read Me Romance podcast. Because I did not listen to the audio, I didn't know what was coming so there was a chapter that had me holding my breath. For me, that was intense. Definitely recommend!

Published in five excerpts on the new Read Me Romance podcast, this was a a fun and steamy instalove romance featuring an ex-Special Forces soldiers falling head over heels for a woman he encounters at a Renaissance Faire.

For the format, it was a fun listen and I'm looking forward to reading the short story on KU when it is released in January 2019. I wasn't much of a fan of the rest of the podcast and probably won't tune in unless it is an author I'm very interested in.

Of course, I always want MORE to my Tessa Bailey, but it was really hot and who wouldn't want a huge, bearded gentle giant competing for their hand in a jousting tournament?!

Bonus points for a brief glimpse of Jason and Naomi and their BABY from Runaway Girl (probably my favorite romance of 2018...). Also, the eBook version includes an extended epilogue which was a nice addition to the story.
I was so excited to get Kyle’s story! I loved meeting him in Runaway Girl, and he deserved to find his one and only. The way Kyle and Cameron meet at the Renaissance fair is so cute and funny. Their instant connection had all the hotness we love and expect from Tessa Bailey. Kyle doesn’t like staying in one place for too long. He gets itchy feet and his job allows him to move all around. When he’s getting ready to leave town again, he meets a girl who might just throw a wrench in his plans to get out of dodge. For the first time since leaving the military he has a reason to stick around. Cameron was absolutely adorable and I loved their back and forth banter. This was a great little novella! I really enjoyed reading it.
