When reading this, I really expected a more in depth account of Amanda Hocking. If you have done your own research on this wonderful, bubbly lady, you will feel a little bit cheated at how litttle is really revealed here. I really thought that for the price, I would have some information that isn't already explained on her blog or on videos surfacing on youtube. Unfortunately there is no real interview here, it just takes quotes from various site and or news videos that have been around for quite some time. I guess for someone new to Amanda Hocking this would be a general book that would allow you to know more about her.
If you are willing to do the research, which I can't really call it that, then visit her blog, check out her goodreads page and watch some of her youtube videos. This will give you all you really need to know about Amanda Hocking. $4 dollars is a lot to pay for scant bits of information, especially when you can learn more on your own just by browsing her blog. Oh well:p

Also, this might put off some, but the first page of the ebook her name is spelled incorrectly.

This book is a rip off attempt at portraying the life story history of Amanda Hocking.... The author is just trying to reiterate publicly known information that could be obtained anywhere online. I doubt that she even met or interviewed Hocking... She's here to make money, that's all...
This gave a good overview of Amanda Hocking. Not super in depth, but a chance to get to know the basics. I read it in one sitting. Gets the job done for a short biography read.
